Vintage Corona Japan "Mini Pistol" Lighter, Gold Plated (Vergoldet), 1950s-1960s – Functional

Description:

I am selling an extremely rare and spectacular collector's lighter, in the shape of a miniature pistol (Fly-Pistol), produced in Japan during the 1950s - 1960s by the famous Corona brand.

This model is a special piece, made especially for the West German market, with the authentic "VERGOLDET" marking stamped on the case (which certifies that it is gold plated). The grips (side grips of the handle) are the original ones, made of ebonite/textured black plastic.

Technical details and condition:

Mechanical condition: Perfectly functional! The liftarm mechanism is triggered promptly when the trigger is pulled and produces a strong spark.

Fuel type: Runs on gasoline (classic, Zippo type).

Fuel: Filling with petrol and changing the stone are very simple, through the dedicated screws at the base of the handle.

Aesthetic condition: Very good for its age, with a superb original patina that enhances its vintage charm (according to the photos).

Safety note: For reasons related to transport and safety rules, the lighter is delivered unloaded (without petrol).
