A remarkable and highly collectible "Artisan Lot" consisting of 50 original vintage glass buttons. These pieces originate from the historic glass-making region of Jablonec, Bohemia (formerly Czechoslovakia), the world's premier center for luxury glass buttons during the Late 19th to Mid 20th century.
These are exquisite "Reverse Painted" buttons. The intricate "Sunburst" or "Radial Swirl" pattern was pressed into the glass, and the coloration was applied to the reverse side using a specialized Cold Enamel (Lacquer) technique.
