积家（Jaeger-LeCoultre）著名的“ Atmos ”钟最初于 1928 年开发完成。该钟无需主人干预即可自动上弦。空气温度的变化会使钟的主发条上紧。温度变化一度即可提供足够的动力让钟运行数日，而主发条的储备足以让钟运行一年。能源通过极慢旋转的扭曲摆来维持，摆动每分钟仅击打两次。
