About BASM

As an artist my main goal is not only to attract the viewer’s interest but also to arouse an emotion and when they look at my work, I want them to see more than an image, I would like them to see it as a message. A painting that speaks both to me and the viewer about ourselves and the world we live in.
作为艺术家，我的首要目标不仅是吸引观众的兴趣，更是唤起情感，当人们看到我的作品时，我希望他们看到的不仅仅是一幅画面，而是将其视为一种信息。

I do not limit myself to one medium, subject or style, sometimes could be a mixed media piece or a sculpture, sometimes the spray paint hits the canvas or the brush meets the paper, it's always something different. This way I can express all my ideas freely and the result could be outright daring and provocative, erotic and humorous or just an intense socio-political commentary about the world.
我不把自己局限于一种媒介、题材或风格，有时是混合媒材作品或雕塑，有时是喷漆涂抹在画布上，或毛笔触及纸面，总是有些不同。这样我就能自由表达所有想法，结果可能大胆而挑衅、带有情色与幽默，或只是对世界的强烈社会政治评论。
