Benrus Jungle Master – 25 Jewels – Selfwinding Automatic – Date – Vintage Men’s Wristwatch

A characterful vintage Benrus Jungle Master automatic wristwatch with a classic mid-century design and an attractive gold-tone case.

The watch features a silver-coloured sunburst dial with applied gold-tone baton hour markers, matching gold-tone hands and a framed date window at 3 o’clock. The Benrus crest and “25 Jewels” signature are positioned beneath 12 o’clock, while “Selfwinding” appears above 6 o’clock.

The dial shows visible age-related patina, adding to the authentic vintage character of the watch.

The watch is powered by a Swiss automatic mechanical movement with 25 jewels. The rotor is signed Benrus Watch Co. Inc., and the inside of the case back is marked Benrus Watch Co. Inc. Swiss with the reference/number FEC 15210.

Condition:

The watch is in worn but attractive vintage condition with clear signs of age and use.

The dial shows visible patina and age-related marks, consistent with the age of the watch. The applied indexes, hands, Benrus crest and printing remain clearly visible.

The gold-tone case shows scratches, surface wear and normal signs of vintage use. The stainless-steel case back has heavy visible scratches and opening marks, as clearly shown in the photographs.

The plexiglass also shows scratches and signs of use. The brown leather strap is used and shows wear.

The automatic movement appears complete and is currently running. The service history is unknown. As with all vintage mechanical watches, no guarantee can be given regarding future accuracy, power reserve or performance.

Water resistance has not been tested and is therefore not guaranteed.
