Eisenberg "Original Blau Saks" - 23-piece Porcelain Coffee and Tableware Set - East Germany (GDR)

Elegant full service in porcelain from the renowned Jäger Eisenberg manufactory, iconic pattern "Original Blau Saks" (blue cobalt underglaze on white body). Stamped on the back Eisenberg DDR Original Blau Saks seit 1869.

Detailed inventory (23 pieces):
• 1 large coffee pot / jug with lid (height approx. 22 cm)
• 1 large tureen / vegetable dish with lid (diameter approx. 21 cm)
• 1 sugar pot with lid
• 1 milk / creamer jug
• 1 large oval serving dish
• 5 bouillon cups / large two-handled cups
• 1 pedestal cup / tall cup
• 2 coffee / tea cups
• 6 egg cups / small tumblers
• 2 saucers / dessert plates (diameter approx. 14 cm)
• 2 corresponding lids (tureen, sugar/coffee pot)

Condition:
Overall very good condition with a glossy glaze and vivid colors.
To note for transparency:
• 1 minor chip on the rim of one saucer (see photos).
• 1 micro-chipping on the interior rim of the coffee pot (hidden when the lid is placed).
