The 2009 release revived Sprouse’s famous graffiti concept in neon green, pink and orange, giving collectors another chance at a design that had already become part of Louis Vuitton history. Absolutely amazing vintage condition with no flaws worth noting. For a limited-edition piece from 2009, this bag has been extraordinarily well preserved.

The Monogram canvas is beautiful and structured, while the fluorescent Vert graffiti remains incredibly bold and vibrant. The exterior presents exceptionally cleanly with beautiful corners, edges and piping. The natural vachetta handles and trim have developed only a light, attractive patina and remain remarkably clean for the age of the bag.

The interior is also exceptionally clean and well maintained. No rips, tears, stains, odors or condition issues of concern were noted.

This is an unusually beautiful collector-quality example of the 2009 Graffiti Speedy.

• Collector & Reseller Notes:
The Stephen Sprouse collaboration is an important piece of Louis Vuitton history. Marc Jacobs originally brought Sprouse’s rebellious graffiti artwork to Louis Vuitton in 2001, creating one of the house’s earliest and most influential artist collaborations. The Graffiti collection returned in Spring 2009 following Sprouse’s death, this time exploding across Monogram canvas in fluorescent green, pink and orange.

The Vert Speedy 30 has become one of the collection’s instantly recognizable pieces, and exceptional-condition examples are particularly desirable because the neon print, untreated vachetta and corners often show substantial aging on bags now well over a decade old. This one’s preservation is a huge part of its appeal.
