## Tell Asmar Votive Figures — 6-Piece Archaeological Replica Collection

A curated collection of six handmade archaeological replicas inspired by the celebrated Tell Asmar votive statues from ancient Eshnunna in Mesopotamia.

The original Tell Asmar statue hoard was discovered in 1934 at the Square Temple at Tell Asmar, ancient Eshnunna, in present-day Iraq. Dating to the Early Dynastic period, these remarkable votive figures are among the most recognisable examples of early Mesopotamian sculpture.

The figures are characterised by their frontal posture, clasped hands and striking, attentive eyes. Votive statues of this type were placed in Mesopotamian sanctuaries as representations of worshippers, maintaining a symbolic presence before the deity.

### The ArkeoArt Reproduction

This six-piece collection has been produced by ArkeoArt as a museum-inspired reproduction of the Tell Asmar sculptural tradition.

Each sculpture is individually cast in high-quality polyester resin and finished by hand with professional acrylic paints. A matte water-based protective varnish is applied after painting.

The aged, stone-like surface and archaeological patina are intentionally created by hand to evoke the visual character of the ancient sculptures. As a result of this handmade process, subtle variations in tone and patina may occur between individual pieces.

The historical reference objects belong to the Early Dynastic period, approximately 2900–2600 BCE. The objects offered in this lot are modern productions.

### Export & Shipping

As modern reproductions rather than excavated archaeological antiquities, the objects will be shipped with the appropriate documentation applicable to the shipment.

Each figure will be individually protected for transport. The complete six-piece collection will be securely packed with protective materials and reinforced outer packaging to minimise movement and risk of damage during international transit.
