Vintage acrylic salt- of pepper mill by Wayne Husted for Grainware with a clear Lucite housing and a spherical top.

Due to their tapered pyramid shape, they are wide and stable at the bottom, then taper toward the round acrylic ball at the top.

Designed by Wayne Husted (1927–2013). Husted rose to worldwide fame in the 1950s and 1960s as the chief designer at Blenko Glass, where he created iconic, colorful sculptural glass forms. In the 1970s he applied his expertise in fluid, geometric shapes to modern plastics such as Lucite, leading to this recognizable pyramid series for Grainware.
