The Sony SS-S3 is a compact yet substantial 3-way bass-reflex speaker system, originally introduced around 2001 as part of Sony’s MHC-S3 audio system. This matching pair combines two 15 cm cone drivers with a 2.8 cm dome tweeter, providing a dedicated driver arrangement for bass, mid/low frequencies and treble.
