Brocante

The object presented is a vintage opaline glass carafe made in the Empoli region by STELVIA—note the stylized lily flower on the label.
This collector's piece from the 1970s (the Mid-Century Modern era) is distinguished by its "Opaline Florence" style decoration: an opaque white glass base (milk glass) featuring a fluid, wavy, or "flame-like" pattern.
The contrasting combination of cobalt blue and vibrant orange is highly characteristic of the era's aesthetic. It also features the elegant silhouette of an *aiguière* (ewer/carafe) with an elongated neck, a clear glass handle, and a bulbous base, serving both as a decorative object (vase) and a functional piece.
Excellent condition, the foil label is present.
Height 35 cm, body width 15,5 cm.
