Seiko A159-4000 Quartz Alarm Chronograph – Vintage Digital Watch – November 1977

Offered here is a very attractive vintage Seiko A159-4000, an early Japanese digital quartz watch combining an alarm and chronograph function.

The watch is fully functional. The LCD display, time, date, alarm, chronograph and all four pushers have been tested and operate correctly.

This model was introduced in 1977 and represents the distinctive futuristic design of Seiko's late-1970s digital era. The serial number of this particular example is 7N7951, dating the watch to November 1977. The dial is marked JAPAN A159-4000 T, while the case back carries the reference A159-4000-G.

The watch features a large LCD display and the characteristic upper panel with the SEIKO logo and integrated alarm speaker grille. Four pushers positioned on both sides of the case provide access to the various functions.
