Introduced in 1954, the Longines Conquest collection became one of the brand’s best-known lines, combining elegant styling with robust construction and practical everyday functionality.
Dating from the mid-1970s, this Conquest features a vertically brushed silver dial, a bilingual day-date display and the high-frequency Longines calibre 636 automatic movement. Its original Longines stainless-steel bracelet completes the characteristic period appearance.

The watch is presented in very good vintage condition and retains an attractive, authentic appearance. The vertically brushed silver dial displays a distinctive linear texture and light, even patina consistent with its age. Minor marks and subtle areas of discolouration are visible upon close inspection. The applied baton hour markers, hands and printed details remain well defined.
The stainless-steel case shows scratches, small marks and normal signs of previous use. Its period shape and contrasting brushed and polished surfaces remain clearly visible. The case back also displays surface scratches, while its engraved reference and serial numbers remain legible.
The signed Longines crown is present. A new, scratch-free crystal has been fitted, providing a clear view of the dial.
The original Longines stainless-steel bracelet and signed clasp show scratches and age-related wear, together with some normal play between the links.
The calibre 636 automatic movement has been serviced and is functioning correctly. A 3-month guarantee is provided on functionality.
