Dulux vintage Swiss mechanical chronograph featuring a striking silver sunburst dial with contrasting black registers, a gold-tone cushion-shaped case and an attractive period racing aesthetic.

The dial is particularly appealing, combining applied faceted gold-tone hour markers, matching dauphine-style hands and two recessed black chronograph registers. A blue peripheral tachymeter scale marked “BASE 1000” adds further character and reinforces the unmistakable sporting design of this vintage chronograph.

The classic bicompax configuration consists of continuous seconds at 9 o’clock and a 30-minute chronograph counter at 3 o’clock, complemented by the central chronograph seconds hand.

Inside is a Swiss 17-jewel hand-wound mechanical chronograph movement with Incabloc shock protection. The movement belongs to the well-known Landeron chronograph family and is shown in detail in the photographs.

The gold-tone cushion case, angular lugs and contrasting stainless-steel back give the watch a distinctive late-1960s / early-1970s appearance. The case back is marked “Stainless Steel Back – Water-Shockresistant – Swiss Made” together with reference/identification numbers 1913 and 130660.

A very attractive vintage Swiss chronograph with strong visual presence, particularly thanks to its panda-style dial, gold-tone case and classic mechanical bicompax architecture.
