Pasquale Vuotto is an Italian contemporary painter and poet, born in Naples in 1958. He is particularly esteemed in the Neapolitan artistic scene for his ability to capture the soul of the coastal landscapes of Campania.
artistic path
Early passion: He began painting at the age of only 10, driven by innate talent.
Training: He started as a self-t taught artist, guided by a strong creative instinct. Subsequently, to refine technique, he attended the art studios of masters D'Urso and Ciardo, reaching an excellent technical maturity.
Philosophy: Vuotto has never sought wealth or fame for their own sake in art, but rather a sense of deep personal and spiritual fulfillment. In his works, painting often blends with poetry, conveying a sense of meditation.
Style and subjects
"Painting from life": About 90% of his production is devoted to his beloved Naples and the nearby coastal localities. Since youth he loves painting en plein air (from life).

Preferred themes: He is best known for his seascapes, fishing villages (such as Ischia, Pozzuoli, Sorrento and Positano), harbors, and the iconic fishing boats moored, just like those visible pasquale-vuotto.
Critics sometimes compare his chromatic sensibility to post-impressionist movements or the Macchiaioli. He uses oil colors to give extraordinary depth and a sense of movement to water and sky, capturing particular hours of the day such as dawns, sunsets or gray, rainy days.
Awards
In addition to being a reference point in Italian art galleries, his works have crossed national borders, exhibited and collected abroad, especially in the United States, the United Kingdom and Germany.
