On Govatsa Dwadashi (Vasu Baras)， worshipping a marble idol of Gomata with her calf symbolizes reverence for Kamadhenu, attracting prosperity, abundance, and blessings for fertility. Placing a white marble Gomata in the northeast direction fosters positive energy, as the cow represents nurturing and maternal divinity.

In good condition. It has been cleaned partly, but the nice antique patina is preserved. Original, ancient, hand cutting,carving and grinding. Traces of use and age on its surface.

Purchased mid 90's in London by Dr. Zelnik on the local art market.
