Interesting complete set of 32 figurine chess pieces Italfama Firenze, Napoleon Medium Set 19-92, Italian production dedicated to the Napoleonic era.
The pieces are made of solid metal and divided into two sides by gold and silver finishes.
The modelling of the figures is particularly rich: Napoleon Bonaparte, Josephine, officers, soldiers in uniform, cavalry on horseback and towers, all characterized by protruding details. The bases are decorated with the characteristic Napoleonic “N” surrounded by ornamental motifs.
On the bottom of many pieces there is still the original red Italfama label – Made in Italy.
The set also retains its original antique box, recognizable by the characteristic Florentine lily and the label “92-M – Small Napoleon – Solid Metal – Made in Italy”.
A scenographic and typically Italian set, interesting not only as a chess game but also as a collectible and display piece, particularly suitable for enthusiasts of Napoleonic history and figurine chess.
The 32 pieces are complete and in good vintage condition, with normal signs of time. The original box shows signs of time, wear and small imperfections due to conservation, as clearly visible in the photographs.
