EXQUISITE mixed lot of crystal stemware by Baccarat, model "Rohan", famous for its rich, continuous acid-etched arabesque pattern.
These pieces belong to the first original series from the 1930s (1931-1935). They are historically unmarked on the bottom (as Baccarat introduced the logo later in 1936), a period-correct detail confirming their authenticity.
Catalog reference: Official models illustrated in the "Catalogue Baccarat Dépôt Central 1933".
The lot consists of (6 intact pieces + 4 complimentary items):
• 4 Champagne Flutes in excellent, pristine condition. Height: 14.5 cm
• 2 Wine Glasses (medium size) in excellent, pristine condition. Height: 10.0 cm
• 2 Additional Champagne Flutes (Height: 14.5 cm) with minor chips on the upper rim. Included as a complimentary gift.
• 2 Additional Wine Glasses (Height: 10.0 cm) with minor chips on the upper rim. Included as a complimentary gift.
Condition of intact pieces: Great, clear crystal and flawless rims.
Note on chipped pieces:
The 4 additional glasses have very minor flaws on the top rim and are included completely free of charge. Since these are minimal, superficial micro-chips, they are ideal for easy restoration and grinding by a professional master glassmaker or crystal artisan after purchase, allowing the buyer to further expand the set. Please review the macro shots at the end of the gallery for details.
Shipping managed via Catawiki Smart Shipping with a Medium Parcel (up to 5 kg) and guaranteed high-protection professional packaging.
