Victor Turban – Regard bleu

V. Turban est un peintre français né à Croix, dans le nord de la France. Passionné par la peinture dès l’enfance, il commence à peindre à l’âge de 10 ans avant de poursuivre une formation aux Beaux-Arts de l’Université de Lille. Son univers pictural se caractérise par une approche très colorée et lumineuse, inspirée notamment par les paysages, les scènes de vie et les atmosphères contemporaines.
Cette œuvre, intitulée « Regard bleu », présente un portrait féminin en gros plan, construit autour de l’intensité du regard. Le visage apparaît progressivement à travers une matière picturale riche, où les nuances de blanc, de gris, de noir et de chair se superposent et créent un effet presque fragmenté.
Le bleu lumineux de l’œil constitue le point focal de la composition et contraste fortement avec la palette monochrome qui domine l’ensemble. Les larges touches de matière et les interventions gestuelles autour du visage donnent à l’œuvre une expression contemporaine, à la fois élégante et saisissante.
Le grand format 90 × 120 cm renforce considérablement la présence du portrait et permet à la matière picturale de prendre toute son ampleur.

Victor Turban – Blue Gaze

V. Turban is a French painter born in Croix, in northern France. Passionate about painting from an early age, he began painting at the age of 10 before pursuing his studies at the École des Beaux-Arts of the University of Lille. His artistic universe is characterised by a highly colourful and luminous approach, inspired in particular by landscapes, scenes of everyday life and contemporary atmospheres.
This work, entitled “Blue Gaze”, presents a close-up female portrait built around the intensity of the subject’s gaze. The face gradually emerges through a rich painterly surface, where shades of white, grey, black and flesh tones overlap to create an almost fragmented effect.
The luminous blue of the eye forms the focal point of the composition and contrasts strongly with the predominantly monochromatic palette. The broad areas of texture and expressive gestures surrounding the face give the work a contemporary character that is both elegant and striking.
The large 90 × 120 cm format further enhances the presence of the portrait and allows the painterly texture to fully develop.
