This sculpture is based on Atlas from ancient Greek mythology, depicting a Titan giant who shoulders the heavens.

Cast entirely in copper, the figure's muscles and robe folds are realistically and meticulously sculpted. The celestial sphere features reliefs of the sun, moon, and constellations, while the base's wave patterns echo the mythological narrative, creating a dynamic and powerful effect.
