椅子 features exceptionally tall ladder backs with four shaped horizontal slats and decorative turned finials. The solid oak frames display a beautiful warm colour, pronounced grain and an authentic patina developed through many decades of use.

A particularly interesting feature is the hand-woven rush seating. Both seats display an unusual and highly decorative geometric pattern, arranged in concentric, angular sections. This distinctive traditional weaving gives the chairs considerable visual character and craftsmanship.
