PRODUCT TITLE
Japanese Aizu Lacquer Document Box “Hagi ni Uzura” Bush Clover & Quail Maki-e Fubako with Storage Box

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This elegant Japanese lacquer document box features the traditional motif “Hagi ni Uzura,” depicting quails beneath graceful bush clover.
Delicate gold and warm reddish decoration stands beautifully against the deep black lacquer surface, creating a refined composition inspired by the Japanese autumn landscape.
Quails and bush clover have long appeared together in Japanese paintings, textiles, lacquerware, and other decorative arts as a poetic seasonal motif.
Its generous rectangular form makes the piece suitable for storing documents, letters, papers, or treasured objects, while it can also be displayed as a decorative work of Japanese lacquer art.
A fitted storage box is included.
This is an attractive piece for collectors of Japanese lacquerware, traditional crafts, and interior decoration.
