This cast-iron doorstop features a whimsical design: a little figure lying on the ground, hands pressed against the base of the door—as if straining with all his might to keep it from closing. His flat, wedge-shaped body serves the practical purpose of holding the door in place, while the figure itself adds a touch of narrative charm.
Crafted from solid cast iron with a vintage-brown finish, the piece possesses the substantial weight and durability characteristic of traditional American farmhouse-style hardware. It is an object that gains character over time and is perfectly suited for use on wooden floors, stone thresholds, or tiled hallways.
