在《深水区》中，我以我一贯的无表情讽刺质疑我们为自己设下的障碍的尺度。一个游泳者准备跳水，另一个身影小心地往一个浅盆里注满水，将琐碎情景转化为巨大的挑战。此图像借用了“身处深水”的常见表达，同时又呼应“被一杯水淹没”的想法——让一个本应简单的情境显得比实际更困难。受文艺复兴时期具象画的画意品质启发，该作品完全在我的工作室拍摄，仅使用摄影机真实捕捉的元素。

藏品级、颜料基的 Giclée 限量版，印于 HAHNEMÜHLE Baryta Silk 310 g/m²。由获得 9 座 TIPA 大奖的高端艺术实验室，使用 Epson UltraChrome Pro12 墨水印制。
