\n\nStone: Natürliche Große Versteinerte Holz Schüssel aus Indonesien - Mit besonderen Achat/Quartz Adern durchzogen\nWeight: 1745,19 g\nSize: 173x148x45mm\nTreatment: None\nOrigin: Indonesia\n\nIt is a fossil wood dating back 200 million years, all parts from a log or branches have been silicified, meaning that organic components were little by little replaced by silicon in the form of jasper, chalcedony and more rarely opal. Without the organic parts, all the living matter was replaced by stone : there are growth rings, cell separations, almost like worm cracks.\nIts features are those of the mineral that would have pseudo-transformed the wood : the silicon.\nAnd that’s what we call a "petrified wood" in the common language.\n\nThe disclaimer about the healing properties\nas previously given :\nIt is believed that certain gemstones and minerals have beneficial health and spiritual properties.\nWe und Catawiki cannot guarantee or be held liable for these suggested attributes which have no scientific\nevidence and cannot be considered a substitute for traditional medical treatment.
