We are delighted to offer this highly sculptural and exceptionally comfortable suite of Maison Regain furniture. Beautifully composed, the suite comprises a two-seater settee and a singular armchair, accompanied by a charming low table. This ensemble perfectly encapsulates the ethos of mid-century French craftsmanship, blending a robust, almost brutalist aesthetic with an undeniable elegance.

The Design & Craftsmanship
Constructed from solid, richly grained oak, each piece boasts a striking architectural framework. The exposed joinery—featuring prominent mortise-and-tenon joints secured with wooden pegs—speaks to the honest, artisanal construction synonymous with the Maison.

A most distinctive feature is the decorative rope detailing, elegantly threaded through the front rails of the seating. This rustic yet sophisticated touch not only serves a structural purpose but also adds a wonderful textural contrast to the sleek frames. The generously proportioned, loose cushions are upholstered in a sumptuous cognac-coloured leather. Having developed a magnificent patina over time, the hide offers an exceptionally plush and inviting seating experience, ensuring the suite is as comfortable as it is handsome.

The accompanying low table, executed in the same exquisite oak, features a subtly raised border and a base that echoes the joinery of the seating, providing a harmonious anchor to the drawing room or salon.

Excellent condition commensurate with age. The oak frames remain sturdy and sound, whilst the leather upholstery is supple, intact, and displays a highly desirable, even patina. A truly splendid suite that would grace any discerning interior.
