Traditional Tibetan folding prayer sutra manuscript, also known as pecha. The set includes handcrafted aged paper leaves, handwritten with Tibetan Buddhist scriptures and mantras.
Each leaf features finely hand-painted colourful Buddha and Bodhisattva figures in classic Tibetan thangka style. Comes with a pair of deeply carved dark wooden protective covers, decorated with inlaid small gilt Buddha statues and secured by leather straps.
A precious religious collectible for shrine worship, Tibetan Buddhist art collection and oriental antiquity display.
