賣家描述
Elegant Set of 3 Neoclassical Brass & Orange Onyx Nesting Tables
A highly decorative and elegant set of three graduated nesting tables, combining richly figured orange onyx tops with refined brass-coloured metal frames.
Each table features a substantial polished onyx top with beautiful natural variations in warm amber, honey, cream, rust and reddish-brown tones. The dramatic veining makes every surface entirely unique and gives the set a luxurious, almost architectural appearance.
The frames are executed in a neoclassical / Louis XVI inspired style, with slender fluted legs, cross-stretchers and beautifully cast foliate ornaments at the upper section of each leg. The tables can be displayed nested together as a sculptural composition, or separated and used individually beside a sofa, armchair or bed.
This is a particularly attractive set due to the unusual warm orange onyx, the elaborate decorative brass detailing and the complete matching set of three tables.
.
Period
Circa 1950–1960
Materials
* Polished natural onyx stone
* Brass-coloured metal
* Cast decorative metal details
Colour
Warm orange, amber, cream, honey, rust brown and antique brass tones.
Condition
Good vintage condition, consistent with age and use.
The metal frames show light wear, patina, small scratches and age-related surface marks.
The onyx tops are generally very attractive, with natural veining and colour variation inherent to the stone.
Please note that there are some small edge chips and minor losses to corners, including a more visible small chip to one of the smallest top.
These have been carefully photographed and do not detract from the overall decorative impact of the set.
Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form an integral part of the description
The complete set has an estimated total weight of approximately 35–37 kg.
The substantial natural stone tops alone weigh around 25.4 kg, while the three decorative metal bases together add approximately 10–12 kg.

Largest table: 54.5 × 34.5 × 44 cm
Middle table: 44.5 × 34.5 × 41 cm
