Unique antique gold coin weight box / scales from 1741 with 9 coin weights and 1 fractional weight. Nearly 300 years old!! Similar item sold on eBay for $1700.
Measurements of the box: L 13 x W 7 x H 2.5
The box is decorated with engraved drawings depicting shrubs, flowers and trees.
The lock and the pin are original!

Deeze gewigten werden gemaakt by Abm. Groengraft Eyk Mr. Genl. Van Holl. en West Vriesland, inde Kalverstraat tot Amsterdam.

Maker: Abraham Groengraft. Deceased on 20-01-1745 This may well be the last box he ever made!
