A lovely set of handmade Japanese wooden dolls created by Takeda, Masashi (1930-2015) Estimated to be at least 50 years old, they are both in excellent shape, no damages at all. Only the original colour of the wood has darkened into a beautiful golden patina over time. Both kokeshi are typical of Takeda's style and have a very cute appearance.
