Note: On the reverse a crescent moon is represented, which is the symbol of the new excise duty on products of consumption in force in the Principality. In 1208, there was an agreement between the Bishop, the chapter and the city for a new tax system of "General excise duty on venal things". The excise was due on wine, beer, wheat, rye, oats and spelt.
