Upright steamer trunk from the 1920s made by the oldest French trunk maker, Moynat, containing full garderobe. It was owned by the vice consul of Spain , mr Leonard Juustinen in Oulu, Finland. We have the full story of the original owner, his home actually still standing in Oulu, Hallituskatu 2. The trunk shows some wear, (minor fading of inside lining) and some minor moisture damage as shown in the photos. It is in it's original condition. The two locks have been carefully forced open at some point but the key exists. The exterior of this trunk is comprised of walnut, leather bindings and brass hardware details. Each trunk was marked with the initials of the owner when bought from Paris, France (L.J. in this case). This trunk is unique as not even the Moynat store historical exhibit in Paris has one.
