A large Robbia Gualdo Tadino majolica jardinière, measuring circa 54cm in length and weighing 2478g, decorated in lustre enamels to depict griffins, the handles elaborately sculpted as double serpents. Marked to the underside with maker´s marks of Cooperativa Ceramisti, Gualdo Tadino, early 20th century.
Condition: A few small issues: Minimal enamel loss, one handle with restored crack, very small piece missing from underside of handle, see pictures.
This lot will be carefully packaged and sent by registered and insured mail.
