A set of 3 wooden Royal Pet animals made by the Japanese Senshukai company.
Consisting of Horn Owl, Lion and Hippopotamus.
Royal Pet is a series of wooden animals manufactured by a Japanese corporation Senshukai between the limited time of 1960-1970s.
Senshukai, originally a Kokeshi Doll manufacturer, was inspired by European wooden toys, and for a short period produced Japanese wooden toy animals called "Royal Pet".
They are all in very good shape, considering their age, between 55 and 65 years old.
These are made of a more reddish color cherry wood, most likely an earlier series.
These rare collectors items are handmade by Kokeshi craftsmen.
