Extra-large Japanese hand-carved Tengu mask (Noh mask).
A striking, oversized wooden sculpture featuring the traditional long-nosed Tengu deity, used for festivals, decoration, or theatrical display.

Tengu is one of the most well-known yokai in Japan. Tengu with a high nose, a bit like an ape, very tall, with a pair of wings, wearing a monk's clothing, high-toothed clogs, holding a round fan and a hammer, such an image. According to legend, they live in the deep mountains, have supernatural powers and superpowers, and have the power to make humans feel horrible.
