This is an original WWII-era Japanese “Hinomaru” national flag set, complete with its folding wooden pole, cloth storage case, and stamped markings. Items in this condition and with all original components intact are becoming increasingly rare on the international market.

The cloth case is marked in old script:
「萬歳日章旗」(Banzai Hinomaru Flag) — a patriotic slogan widely used during the 1930s–1940s (Shōwa pre-war & wartime period / approx. 1930–1945).
The lower marking reads 「濱田式の石 金及幕」, indicating a maker’s or distributor’s notation typical of pre-war patriotic goods.

Inside the flag cloth, a red stamp appears on the seam — another characteristic feature of early–mid Shōwa production.
