Regarding the delivery, I can see from the tracking information that the parcel appears to have been delivered directly to a collection point rather than to your home address. This was not something I requested or arranged and is therefore outside my responsibility. It was most likely a misunderstanding or an operational decision by the local delivery office or carrier.

I always use Catawiki’s Smart Shipping service. This means that Catawiki automatically selects the shipping method and carrier, and the shipment is normally intended for delivery to the buyer’s home address.

Unfortunately, I have no control over the carrier’s actual delivery procedure in your city.

I am also very sorry to hear that the item did not fully meet your expectations regarding the colour. I always make every effort to provide realistic and representative photographs

You waited 19 days after delivery before reporting this alleged problem, so your claim that the mother-of-pearl “fell off immediately” is simply not credible. The cufflinks were brand-new, fully intact and carefully checked before shipment. I personally packed them securely in bubble wrap.

These are authentic vintage Montblanc cufflinks dating from approximately 25 years ago. The original Montblanc reference number used at that time was 9893. It is therefore perfectly normal that this discontinued model can no longer be found on Montblanc’s current website. The photographs clearly showed the exact cufflinks offered and received.

You received precisely the pair you purchased. Claiming 19 days later that they were damaged “immediately,” tarnished and suspicious merely because a 25-year-old discontinued model is absent from today’s Montblanc website is grossly misleading and entirely unacceptable.
