Mdina艺术玻璃的“Japanese Globe”球形花瓶——以“Sea and Sand”图样为标准（约1970年）。

重要的球形花瓶，在工作室目录中被称为“Japanese Globe Vase”，采用厚重吹制玻璃制作。内部装饰呈现标志性“Sea and Sand”（海洋与沙滩）图样，特点是蓝绿松石色颜料、赭色/金色丝线的复杂融合，以及密集的微泡纹理，仿佛海浪泡沫与马耳他海滩的沙粒。原始设计与享有盛誉的玻璃大师迈克尔·哈里斯的影响时期相关联。

底部以钻石尖端刻字/雕刻签名（“Mdina”），并保留在上部区域的制造商“Mdina
