A lovely large antique Chinese porcelain ‘Kraak’ saucer with a central decoration of two crows and two flying ducks in river landscape with lotus flowers in a strong underglaze blue. In the border a classical decoration of buddhist symbols, stripes, dots and swastikas. Handcrafted in ancient China during the Ming dynasty, Wanli period (ca. 1590). On the backside a decoration of stylized stripes and circles. Nice size, high borders and excellent quality. Diameter: 28,8 centimeter, Condition: This object is in fair condition, with some small flakes and a restored section (less than 1/3) on the rim. The condition is carefully checked with strong UV-light and bright translucent white light. Shipping method: The item is securely packed and shipped with insurance, without stand.
