Decorative round white marble plate inlaid with semi-precious stones. Blue: lapis lazuli / Orange: carnelian / Green: malachite / Glossy white: mother of pearl. Blue marquetry box containing a ribbon in the colours of the Indian flag and a small cardboard medal representing the official emblem accompanied by the motto of India: "सत्यमेव जयते" (Only truth triumphs). Handmade from Agra in northern India with the traditional method of "Pietra Dura". The marble is made hollow using a carving tool according to the drawing and each small piece of stone is shaped to be inlaid in this complex pattern.
