It is made of bronze and fire-gilded with 24 carat gold. It has a detailed gold painted face with open eyes and lapis lazuli on his head. This Buddha Statue is also known as the Medicine Buddha in Buddhism. The figure of the body is carved from a copper body and gilded with genuine 24k gold over the statue. The deity is seated peacefully upon a moon disc lotus in a meditative posture as he holds an alms bowl containing the nectar of immortality with his left hand and a myrobalan plant with the other hand.
