Large Chinese porcelain bottle vase, marked -China- 20th Century On offer is a large Chinese porcelain bottle vase painted in the famille rose palette. This high quality hand painted vase has beautifully detailed decorations of various (20) Chinese important man and palace women present in a garden with flowering plants and jagged rocks, surrounded by a fence. Above the continuous decoration a wide band of stylized lotus flowers and shou characters. On the neck a continuous decoration of a boy and woman in a landscape garden. At the rim a band with ruyi shaped forms. At the bottom a 6 character Guangxu mark. Nice trimmed foot rim. Provenance: purchased in 2001. Comes from our own private collection. Date: dating from the 20th Century, purchased in 2001. Size: Measures 39cm in height. Belly measures ca. 22 cm across. Footrim measures ca. 13,5cm across. Condition: Very good! There is only an almost invisible tension hairline in the middle of the neck. This is only visible with a lot of light. Otherwise completely without any damage. Minor wear.
