In nice original conditions with some minor traces of age.
Unlike his usual works, this is the Ueyama's rare Kuraku Chawan, Mount Fuji is carved into the inside of the bowl, giving it a unique flavor when you use it.
Ueyama Yoshimine
Born in Kyoto City in 1946.
He graduated from Kyoto City Fushimi Technical High School, ceramics department.
He completed the ceramics department at Kyoto Prefectural Ceramics Vocational Training School.
He studied under his predecessor Yoshimine (Kyoto City Traditional Industrial Technology Person of Merit).
He has won numerous awards at Kyoto ware and Kiyomizu ware exhibitions. He has exhibited at many other exhibitions.
