It was also the first album entirely without Syd Barrett. For the first time, folky pieces appeared, such as Green is the Color, later pieces like Fat Old Sun or If had a similar style. In retrospect, the band viewed the work on the soundtrack as a pleasant change from the previous approach, as their record company EMI viewed the music for More as a special project and gave the band a free hand.
