Vase - Porzellan, Sehr seltene Vase mit Satsuma-yaki Kyoto-Landschaftsmotiv - Japan (Ohne Mindestpreis)

This is a very rare vase depicting scenes of Kyoto in Satsuma ware. It features a five-story pagoda, cherry blossoms, a river, a pier, pine trees, and a waterfall. This design is not often seen in Satsuma ware vases. The color scheme is very colorful and spring-like, with scenes typical of Kyoto depicted throughout the vase. The delicate painting has a strong impact from every angle. It is believed to be a vase from approximately 80 to 100 years ago. There is a signature of Kinpu on the bottom. Satsuma-yaki is a type of Japanese pottery, primarily produced in Kagoshima Prefecture. It utilizes region-specific techniques and materials, including the use of local clay and distinctive glazing methods. Glazes such as yellow, blue, and red are employed, with yellow-glazed pieces being particularly renowned. The pottery is characterized by its robust and powerful designs. As the Meiji era unfolded, the production of Satsuma ware expanded both domestically and internationally. Especially during the Meiji and Taisho eras, Satsuma ware garnered high acclaim at events like the Paris Exposition and the Japan Art and Crafts Exhibition. Center Diameter 31.0 cm Top Diameter 10.7 cm Bottom Diameter 16.0 cm Height 33.3 cm Weight 5100 g Condition: The condition is generally good. Since it is very old, there are scratches, scratches, dull paint, and stains that cannot be removed. Also, there is one spot on the opening of the vase where your nails can get caught. It was kept at home. I just cleaned it properly. There are many photos, so please take a look. Atention: The items listed for sale are all used collectibles. Please consider them to have signs of aging, such as stains, scratches, scuffs, tears, discoloration, fading, fraying, and changes in thread color. We will post as many photos as possible to make it easy to understand. As these are old items, we appreciate your understanding before making a purchase. Shipping: The lot will be carefully packaged and shipped from Japan. We will use either DHL or FedEx for a safe and secure transportation. It usually takes about 2-3 weeks for delivery, and the package will be shipped with a tracking number. Import duties, taxes, VAT, and any other charges are not included in the item price and shipping cost. Please check your country's import duties before bidding. 041423130418
