World Champion Formula One in 1979

Jody David Scheckter is a South African former F1 racing driver. He was the 1979 Formula One World Drivers Champion with Ferrari, he also drove the legendary P34 Tyrrell six-wheeler. He competed in Formula One from 1972 to 1980 and is still the only African F1 World Champion.

Here we offer a fantastic recreation of Jody’s Iconic and very recognisable world championship Ferrari small window helmet. This very nice 70's Shoei helmet looks the same as the helmet Jody used during his World Championship year and it is in very good condition, it also comes with a 1970 SNELL code (so it is approved for hight speed motor sports such a F1) The great helmet will make a very nice display piece in any collection.
