Antique ceramic tea set produced by Petrus Regout & Co., manufactured in Maastricht, The Netherlands, circa 1900–1930.
The set is decorated with expressive hand-painted floral motifs in cobalt blue, ochre, green and manganese tones on a white glazed ground. The bold brushwork and vivid colour palette are characteristic of Regout’s early 20th century artistic and export production.
The underside bears a clearly identifiable factory mark reading “Petrus Regout Maastricht”, confirming authenticity.
Set includes:
5 tea cups, height, 5 cm, diameter on top, 8 cm.
5 matching saucers, height, 2.7 cm and 12.7 cm in diameter.
1 milk jug / creamer, highest point, 20 cm and widest part, 12 cm.
Condition:
Good antique condition. Minor age-related wear and light surface signs consistent with use. No cracks or restorations observed. Colours remain bright and glossy.
