The composition is simple yet elegant, highlighting the seasonal beauty of the camellia motif, a classic subject frequently seen in Japanese decorative ceramics.

Kutani ware is known for its bright overglaze enamel colours and expressive brushwork. The slightly translucent enamels and controlled outlines reflect the refined colour-painting technique associated with modern Kutani studio ceramics.

The vase comes with its original signed wooden tomobako (storage box).
