Περιγραφή από τον πωλητή

Silver Steam Boat Pipe Pick / Pijpen Wroeter

Pipe Pick, in Dutch “PijpenWroeter” or just “wroeter” was a common tool used to “fluff” the bowl or just to help clean out tobacco and ash.
They often came in the form of animals, but ships were also incredibly popular and have become very desirable. Hunting animals, as well as others inspired by military, royal or historical/mythical figures are also popular. Often they were gifted, or custom made around a smokers interest or job.

This example is in the form of a steam boat. It is 116mm long and 11.3 g

The makers mark points to the brothers Roelfsema (registered 1864) who were located in the city of Winsum, province of Groningen, and the Dutch Sword confirms the dates and puts it to the late 1800s.
