Magnificent Single Flower (Soliflora) vase, produced by Herend - Hungary in the most desired pattern “Rothschild” (Bird Collection), in perfect condition.

It is a delicate long neck vase with a bulb body, suitable for a single flower/branch, also called “Soliflora”, hand painted in the well known Rothschild pattern with birds perched among branches and scattered butterflies, insects & bugs, gilt banding.

This pattern was first created in 1850 for the Rothschild family of Europe and is considered to be the epitome of hand painting on porcelain.
Twelve different motifs portray a 19th century tale about Baroness Rothschild who lost her pearl necklace in the garden of her Vienna residence.
Several days later it was found by her gardener, who saw birds playing with it in a tree.

The vase is in perfect condition, Like New Never Used, marked with Herend blue shield stamp and numbered, NO chips, NO cracks and NO repairs, please see pictures as they are part of description.
